In 2009 Nadene Milnes purchased 3 cottages located at 28 River Avenue Crescent. At the time they needed quite a bit of work. Through hard work and determination, the cottages were soon finished the first stage of renovations, and seasonal bookings commenced. After a tremendous first summer, Nadene saw great potential with the property. Nadene also had a booming career as a real estate agent with Prudential Ronan Realty and was working hard towards opening an office here in Wasaga Beach. Not only this but Nadene was also about to have her very first child. Balancing all of these things proved to be quite the handful for just one person.

In September 2009, Nadene asked her brother Aaron Armstrong, who was working for RIM in Windsor, ON if he would be interested in moving closer to family, and have the opportunity to build a brand and make this family business a success. Aaron saw a wonderful opportunity, and agreed to move to Wasaga Beach. Since that day Aaron and his family have worked tirelessly to further upgrade and renovate the cottages. The second year was a success once again.

In late 2010, Nadene purchased what is now known as CedarLane Lodge. Wasaga Beach lacked a high end Luxury Vacation rental, and our goal was to to make sure we brought you one. Beach1.com has quickly become the premier place for vacation rentals, and we hope to keep growing, not only with our own properties, but by assisting our visitors with properties other owners have as well. Unfortunately in the summer of 2011, even with a green light from the mayor, due to bi-law zoning restrictions we were forced to sell CedarLane Lodge. Wasaga Beach has lost its first and only Luxury Rental it ever had. Or has it?.

We were working very hard to provide Wasaga Beach with the very best Vacation/Cottage/Cabin Rentals and our plans for the future have not been de-railed. As of November 10, 2011, Beach1.com is proud to annouce some major changes to our Riverfront Villa property. We are now happy to offer our guests an establishment that can sleep up to 25 people, and not only will it be availble to our Summer Guests, but it will be available to our offseason Skiiers and Snowmobilers! We are now booking for 2012, and booking fast! We hope this year will bring more success. None of this would be possible without you, our guests.

Wasaga Beach is one of the most fun and enjoyable places to visit in Ontario. It attracts so many people, that it easily becomes a vast rainbow of different cultures, religions, and ages. Guests of Beach1.com are known to be the most polite, enjoyable, and friendly in the entire area. The Respect for the residents and visitors of the beach is what we love about the people that book with us. If you are a new guest we welcome you with open arms, and hope you have a wonderful stay, but please do so responsibly. Wasaga Beach is a destination for everyone to enjoy themselves right from the tiniest of toddlers, to the wisest of grandparents. We want to uphold our repuation and it starts with you.
